52 inch spring swap
I'm looking to do a 52 inch spring swap my only concern is that it'll be to soft a ride for a street truck? Does anyone have these and how do you feel about them on the street?

Re: 52 inch spring swap
I took the 7 leaf pack and swapped for 52" 3 leaf and think it rides better.
but bottoms out easier. Rear is flipped with bump stops cut off

Re: 52 inch spring swap
I think he is talking about the popular swap of moving the rear springs to the front. They are typically not recommended for trucks that spend most their time on the street. They tend to be too soft. But, if you run a sway bar and really good shocks, they can work. Most will tell you that its not worth it. Most will also tell you to just pick up a set of tuff country ez ride springs. They are the softest lift springs for these trucks but still give a stable ride.

Re: 52 inch spring swap
I had 4" ez ride springs before I got nuts and went 11" lift lol. Compared to my buddy's stock k20 it was night and day. On my next square body I'ma do the 52 and 64" spring swap.

Re: 52 inch spring swap
By night and day, do you mean your ez rides rode better or worse?

Re: 52 inch spring swap
Better. I had 35x12.50 bfg's while he had 31x10.50 swamped radials I think if that makes a difference.
