Aftermarket Trans Coolers and Line Setups
How are your aftermarket transmission coolers and their lines setup?
I have a TH400, and a Summit Trans cooler that fastens to the front of the radiator. The cooler just has barbed hose fittings for use with a clamp. I kinda half assed the lines along time ago, got some straight tubing from parts store and gently bent them along the frame rail. But since the trans cooler doesn't take a threaded line and I had to just cut the lines and clamp hoses to them. The pressure line will leak if you don't tighten the piss out of the clamp. Just curious as to what everybody is running for the trans lines and coolers.

Re: Aftermarket Trans Coolers and Line Setups
I haven't done mine yet (waiting on a radiator to do at the same time), but I'll be running a Hayden model #525, which comes with female inverted flare nuts, and a dedicated electric fan. I'll be using steel line to run through the factory cooler in the radiator, then to the Hayden, and back to the trans-no rubber...like you said, it always leaks.
