I heard new spindles push the front wheels out a couple of inches, True?
I have a 66 C10 and adding 73-87 spindles. I heard that this pushes the front end out a couple of inches. Is this true? TIA

It depends on which spindles you bought. Most move the wheels out 3/4" per side. CPP makes some spindles that they advertise don't move them out. No other company makes this claim that I know of.

I was going to use wheel spacers on the back to compensate for the front moving out.

With a 29" tall tire you might run into clearance problems with the fender lips in the front.

Even CPP Modular spindles move the wheels out if you're converting from drums. There's a thread on it. It's somewhere around 3/8" per side.
Most other brands move the wheels out about 3/4" per side.

Thanks for the replys! Now what are people doing for the hub size being different from the back to the front, when it comes to a wheel selection? The rear axle hub size is around 3.5"? And the front hub on the front is alot smaller...
