Fuel tank
I have a 1947 chevy two ton truck with s rusted out fuel tank. It mounts to the passenger outside frame rail just behind the cab. I want to replace it with the same style but can not find one that will work For a 2 ton truck. I don't want to relocate the fuel tank to the rear of the frame because it has a 12 foot flatbed on it and it wouldn't be easy to fill a rear style fuel tank. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Re: Fuel tank
Bern-------Outside the rail rectangular tanks are easy to find, used by many medium and heavy trucks . Expect to pay a buck per gallon capacity .
