Fuse Block/Box replacement

Hey again, not trying to blow up the forum today, but I was wondering if anyone has ever replaced their fuse box. The one in my 62 is pretty sad and I have looked high and low for a replacement. If you've replaced yours, where did you find one?

Re: Fuse Block/Box replacement

I got the entire under dash harness & fuse box for my 64 from American Autowire. No problems, but kinda wish I would have gone with the more blade style fuse box instead of the stock on.

I had checked out American, but I couldn't find just the box. I didn't want to buy a harness too, but I can't find the sole box anywhere.

Re: Fuse Block/Box replacement

I think you will have to settle for an aftermarket universal fuse box. There are many to choose from, most of which can be found searching on ebay. Some of the nicer ones are marketed for marine use.

With the way my cab leaks, marine use would be the ticket.

Re: Fuse Block/Box replacement

Here is one that likely has more positions than you need, is of good quality, but not marine grade.

Here is a marine grade fuse box.

There are many others to be found in searching ebay or your favorite electrical supplier

Thanks for looking those up. I was trying to stay stock (I was hoping that some company out there made a reproduction stock style box) but I may wind up getting one like that since there don't appear to be any repros out there.
