Help identifying tubular A-arms and sway bar I just picked up - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I just picked all of this stuff up from a buddy for a really good price, but I'm not sure who built them. I would really like to see pictures if anyone is using the same setup. The sway bar looks like it was added onto the lowers after they were built. They may be from the same manufacturer or not.. Any help would be appreciated. I'm going to strip them down to have them re-powder coated. The PC is horrible. Sprayed brake clean on them and it just destroys the PC. I'm not bashing anyone, but this is what gives PC a bad name, the PC wasn't cured long enough.

I just got them stripped down for new PC to match my frame.

When I look at the end links I'm thinking Ridetech but I agree .. it looks like that lower bracket has been welded to the LCA (?)

I'm no pro .. I just noticed the silver and black looking powder coat on the control arms and thought JDM. My Pop had a 2008 Ranger we dropped with DJM stuff and it looked familiar

Again, not sure on the sway bar but something says Ridetech. Is it solid or hollow?

Thanks Chad, got them back from PC and installed. I ended up having to remove my 1.5" lowering springs and installing my stock springs to get the correct ride height. The truck handles so much better.

Those won't work on your truck. They will only work on a truck that is painted white.
I will be over later today to pick them up and dispose of them for you. LOL!

its tough too see good but looking at your last pic it looks like you have your center link in backwards.
the inner tie rods should have the nut facing forward.

its a easy mistake too make and it will make a world of differnce in your steering flipping the center link end too end.

sweet control arms though.

Omg - After looking at it now, I think you're right! Wow.....I would have never figured this out! I'm getting the truck aligned on Friday, so I will make the change before then! Thank you!

i think it crazy that it fits just fine backwards.
but when you put in the right way it looks as if it wouldnt fit.

the c link does come super close to the crossmember but it'll clear all the way.

i think you have to install the center loosely then turn the wheels l&r to get the inners in.

i did this before i knew any better on the kids 67 boy did it steer funky.

your gonna crap yourself on the first ride it'll handle awesome.

You are aware those have a stepped spring pocket right? I had those on my truck, at least the 3" drop option. Truck rode like a Cadillac with them. They are not stock ride height.

I didnt at first. I initially installed my lowering springs and it was way to low and the tires rubbed the inner fender wells. Luckily I kept my stock springs and installed them and now rides like a Cadillac and gave me the stance I was after. Thanks to midnightblues, I turned my center link around too.

on your A arms, those will work with stock sway bar, which 99% of aftermarket don't. and the PO used a aftermarket sway bar anyway......nice build by the way!!!
