Suspension on a 72: This doesn't seem right...
I was working on rebuilding the front end on my 72 this evening and had to come to a stop as I have a parts mismatch. I bought a rebuild kit from eBay that had all of the steering components that one would need. When I went to reassemble the upper control arms, I noticed that the parts don't quite work.
After some research, it appears that the replacement parts supplied are correct, but that the upper control (and lower control) are not stock to this vehicle. Anyone have any idea what I have? Need to get this thing rolling sooner than later. Are these non-stock parts going to be an issue, or is this some sort of upgrade? |

Welp, that's what I was thinking it was after doing some more digging at pics.
Thanks! |

Wait, How does this effect my balljoints and the steering arm assembly? Are there different tapers involved?
