If you have coils in the back, drop coils will get you there. I put 4 inch drop coils on my GMC and it sits level. Did not do anything to the front. Very simple install.

Re: lowering my 1970 c10

I would call Early Classic Enterprises and talk to them about what you want. They sell everything you need and are very knowledgeable and helpful.

I looked at 71meangreenc10's thread and 4 inch drop in the back to get level seems like a lot. I have ECE 4 inch drop coils in the back and 2 1/2 drop spindles in the front and I have a very, very slight rake.

Of course if your front springs are worn and are sagging, then all bets are off.

You can always get it almost there and then fine tune with lowering blocks. I think I have seen them sold in 1/2 inch sizes.

well so far I've been stuck because I live in an apartment so I've been limited as to what I can do. I got a set of heads that need to go on, and id like to start getting the suspension fixed up, mainly getting new springs and shocks. basically just started, but the guy I bought the truck from lived in Fresno and he did intake carb cam exhaust and th400. its got a straight body, but grey primer for now

Re: lowering my 1970 c10

My rear springs came from ECE.
