Questions regarding CPP Grandslam Kits
Looking at going at one of their 5/7 Grandslam Kits for my 64 c10. I plan on keeping the 6 lug pattern, but going with the 12' disk brakes the kit comes with.
My question is, I want to keep my original steel 6 lug wheels, will the brakes work with these steel wheels? Their site says it may or may not work.....any answers from guys with this setup or experience with this? |

Re: Questions regarding CPP Grandslam Kits
I had the same kit on my truck and the stock steel wheels will not work with the cpp disc brakes.

Re: Questions regarding CPP Grandslam Kits
71-87 steelies will work with disc brakes.
Two negatives about CPP drop kits. Most say the rear spring are soft or get softer over time. Customer service thru CPP directly or on eBay sucks. Buy your CPP parts from a reputable company like a Summit Racing for quick service and usually free shipping.
