? on value
I just bought another truck for parts. It is a 67 Chevy. There is a guy in town that wants to buy the hood. Question is what is a fair price? It is a real nice hood (no rust or dents)
Thanks, Dan |

I practically will give away a 69-72 hood, but IMO, $150 or more for a nice dent/rust-free 67/68 hood. Reason?
1. Not many originals exist without some type of rot under lip by battery tray. 2. The 67/68 nose is a popular swap for those with 69-up front ends. Plus in your region they can't be plentiful to start with.

Thats cheap. I would sell it for no less than $250.00. A Goodmark hood goes for $399.99. I didn't find a OEM hood for my truck for 2 years. OEM dent and rust free hoods are getting scarce.

$200 for a hood? so I got 5 of those that would make me 1000 bucks richer huh?
Being realistic, I would sell any of my hoods for maybe 50 bucks, as Jeff said you never know when you'll need a favor. Last edited by chevy_fatman; 09-20-2003 at 01:20 AM. |

Hoods in my area don't bring anything, kind of like gas tanks. Most of them go to scrap yard. Get what you can, good luck Randy
