4L60E Question
Doing a LS Swap on my 72 C10, bought a 2003 Chevy donor truck with 5.3 / 4L60E combo. Rebuilt the transmission and have it bolted up to the motor sitting in the frame. My buddie just called and said he has a tranny out of a 2011 Chevy with only 13,000 miles on it that he said I could have !
Question is ..... Are these two tranny's the same ? Are they interchangeable? I'd rather use the new one if it'll work. Im using the factory computer and harness for my swap Thanks for any advice in advance, Wade

GM eliminated the 3-2 downshift solenoid, And the Pressure Switch Manifold in 2009.
The short answer is NO, It will not work with a 2003 PCM, But it's free & has a lot of good hard parts that will swap into your '03 4L60E if needed later.....You can always give it to me...... |
