65 wiring issue

Good morning all.

I've had my 65 LWB C10 for a few months and it had been running fine, then I decided to remove the Jimmy rigged stereo and speakers and haven't had it running since. It appeared to be electrical issues. So I replaced several of the wires that they had spliced to install the stereo, but all still having issues.

I think I've diagnosed the problem, on the side box, the red wire running from the ign slot is cut. I can't figure out where it is supposed to connect to. It looks like it was connected to the stereo, but I didn't see how before I removed it.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: 65 wiring issue

Never mind, I found the short. There was a bare spot on the red wire where it goes past the radiator. Once I pulled and replaced that wire I could get it started. Now to tackle the carb issues
