Parallel 4 link and Bags
Hello everyone, long time reader first time posting. I'm excited to finally be on the forum. So I am setting up my 66 with my first bag set up and super stoked.
I just received my Accuair kit and I already have a parallel four link (KP Components) and a cantilever set up (also KP Components) both mount out side the frame rails. I want this all to look and operate cleanly. I am a very symmetrical person and don't like the idea of a pan hard bar and want to try and use the center portion of a triangulated four link were it goes from the top of the bell housing to the inside of the frame witch I also already have (I guess you could call it a 6 link). Does anybody have any experience with this? I am a little concerned of binding and or restriction issues. Is this a bad idea or do you think this can work? Please let me know what you have experienced or think don't hold back you can't hurt my feelings.Thank so much for reading |

I don't understand how a link from the bellhousing to the frame is going to keep your differential in line side to side?

Re: Parallel 4 link and Bags
He's talking about doing a triangulated 6-link from the diff I gather, not bellhousing lol which would work or use a Watts link to keep the diff centered. I hate panhards on bagged trucks & 2-links lol

Re: Parallel 4 link and Bags
Yes correct the diff housing sorry .lol. I did think about a Watts linkage but I already have all the parts for the triangulated link and Watts links can get expensive.
