What do the pros think?

I was only able to get a drive by shot of this jimmy but it's an automatic, small block(obviously) and it's in pretty rough shape. What would you guys ( the pros) this she's worth? It's been sitting a while but I think it's got replaced rockers at least judging by the primer below the doors. I apologize for the terrible pictures again.. But I was stopped in the middle of the road. Name: image.jpg

Re: What do the pros think?

Im notta pro but 28-3500 if it runs. Depends on rust. Door looks to be not original.
I'd sure like a shot at it.

Re: What do the pros think?

For some reason I can't help but think an old man owns it... Judging by the mid 80s thunderbird that looks like it also hasn't moved in forever..seems like an old man car but yea it's never moved since I first saw it like a year ago

Re: What do the pros think?

In northern cali, there isnt a running and driving blazer thats under 5k anymore, assuming it has not been completely taken by rust.

Re: What do the pros think?

I too see this in my area. Most are pretty lousy looking. I've been searching for a single wall top for a couple of years and when I find one in "good" shape it needs work and the asking price is ridiculous. Seems the prices of the trucks and parts are rising. Even the 73-75 body styles are starting to get pricey.

Re: What do the pros think?

Since it's in WA, that'd typically be a $1500 K5 starting maybe up to $3500 if it's got a newer 350 in it and minor rust. If it's rusted out but running, still sub-$2g.

The prices in Cali and other places are just crazy though, not realistic when dumping so much time and money into a project. If I'm paying more than $3g for a K5 it better be a real good daily driver and have only minor rust.

Re: What do the pros think?

In this area you will not find a 69-72 K5 under $6000 that runs without a lot of rust! These things are getting expensive guys. If you find one buy it and keep it. As for the one pictured. I would pay $3500 if it does not run and $4500 if it does. Has to have the hatch tho.

Re: What do the pros think?

I wonder if the owner knows what it's worth... Might have to check it out sooner then later
