63 GMC steering column wiring
I bought a new turn signal switch and wiring harness for my steering column, but from what I can tell, I have to remove the column to route the wires properly. (the plugs won't fit thru the sleeve) Has anyone ever run into this?

Thanks fatboy!(if I may call you that) He makes it look so easy! I wouldn't have guessed in a million years the connectors will fit thru the column. Now that I have a 2nd truck(84 chevy c10) I can park my 63 GMC c10 and do a little work to her.

Where did you get your turn signal switch? GMC used a different switch, just wondering who was offering the GMC switch.

Unfortunately, I discovered the different switch thing last weekend when I tried to install it. I'm hoping I'll be able to swap part of the chevy column into my GMC to make the switch work

I have not done it myself , but it has been covered on the 6066 GMC forum. You can modify the Chevy switch to match the GMC version with some minor machining.
