Finising off the cab wall

Hi I am working on my interior, and I have applied sound reducer to the lower half of the cab wall.
Any ideas pictures how to finish this off. I dont like the silver look,
thought I saw some pictures of carpet.
I'm looking for ideas, pictures how you did it etc...

Thank you in advance

Looks very similar to what I did. I got a new cardboard tool tray, my original one was falling apart. Later, I took it back out and installed speaker box carpet on it. That actually gave it more support.

TKCR, What is that product you put on the cab floor, looks like two different kinds. Did it work for reducing sounds?

The first layer is the FatMat, it's the peel & stick, helps with sound. The next layer is the black mat that is installed at the factory, I put that back down. The last layer is a foiled backed insulation. Got it from Home Depot & I just used foil tape to seal it down & together. It comes in various sizes. I used it more for the heat barrier.

This is what it looked like with all the layers right before the new carpeting.

Re: Finising off the cab wall

If you are replacing your carpet, you can order additional carpet to cover the back wall. On my 84 Sierra, I opted to build a speaker box and storage tray combined. I ordered a carpet kit from OC Auto Carpets and plan to line the bottom of the storage box to match.

It is speaker or amp box carpeting. I ordered my online, but I believe JoAnn Fabrics has it. I just don't have a JoAnn fabrics store near by.
