Frame questions ???
I have a 65 c10 shortbox truck. My question is if have a chance to buy a 62 or 63 c10 shortbox frame. Iso the frame compatible with the 65 and is it a better?

63-66 frame is the same.

60-62 X frame.
63-66 ladder style frame.

The one I looked at is a xframe. It that compatible with a 65 ? Is the xframe a strongerror design?

X frame is wider in the back, with Different bumper holes , the cab mounts are different. X frame is plenty strong but harder to run exhaust. a lot of fab work to get your cab set on it.

60-62 also have torsion bar front suspension. Which is harder to find parts for and to bag. You will also have to deal with different cereal number legality issues.
