Flowtech headers and 4/6 drop inline 6
I hope I did not make a big purchase mistake today. I just purchased Flowtech long tube headers for my 72 with the 250 inline six with a 4/6 drop. Did I screw up. I still have not purchased the mufflers or anything from the headers back. any advise from here would be helpful from here folks. Upfront thanks

Don't even open the box. It'll be too low. I tried it with 5" drop, and the collector was on the ground

Re: Flowtech headers and 4/6 drop inline 6
You could always replace the 250 with a 292. The will raise the head and headers 1.75".
The headers on my 292 came from a guy with a Chevy II Nova that he was lowering. He never bolted them up, but had them for over a year when he started the project.
