49 headliner
anyone used the cardboard headliners and have you had any warping . I was reading that you could paint them and that would help keep them from warping ,bagging etc.. I just got one from bowtie bits

Re: 49 headliner
I had cardboard headliners for years but they all started to droop after a few years even though the truck sits in a dry, heated garage all winter.
so I switched to a pvc headliner - no droop and it fits great. also, its one piece |

Re: 49 headliner
I think a bit of sagging after a period of time is normal with the fiber ones. They might go a little quicker over where Nvrdon lives than on the east side of the big pile of rocks where I live even kept inside but they do tend to droop a bit after a few years.
I don't know about the painting as most of the ones I have seen painted were painted because the owner wanted to match the rest of the interior.
