What gauge sheet metal for patches?

I searched on this forum and on a bunch of external sites for the answer and can't seem to find it anywhere.

What gauge is the factory sheet metal used on the AD trucks, and what gauge are the replacement panels?

Long story short, I just got my fenders back from the welder and he did an absolutely deplorable job on them. I had to cut out some of the bad welds and now have to weld in patch pieces in the holes I cut. I'd prefer to use the same gauge as the factory so it can make it as seamless as possible.

They are very comparable and in some instances thicker. Floor pans should be about the same. fenders should be 18 ga. or 1.2mm
