I have a question as far as radiator and fan used on the LS swap
I see a lot of people using aftermarket radiator, I havent measured yet but can you use the stock LS radiator in a 1971 c10 suburban ?. I ask this because I will be taking everything I can take from my 00 Silverado when I do my swap

On mine I just kept my orignal trucks radiator. Although I did buy a new one..its plenty enough for cooling the ls..may be a lot involved in trying to fit a truck radiator in your burb.

I used a stock radiator from 1985 Chevy C10. I bought from advanced auto parts. I also made my own fan shroud from pieces of aluminum, had a buddy weld the pieces together, and mounted some JY fans from a late 90's Pontiac sun fire. Between radiators and fans I spent about $200.00. Good luck.

My .02 is that it's nice to have the radiator inlet on the passenger side so you don't have the upper radiator hose running across to the drivers side. Gives you a lot more room for the air intake tubing. If you are buying a new aluminum you go with a cross flow design the has both inlet and outlet on the same side or use a Ford style radiator that has the inlet on the passenger side.
It means the lower hose will run across at the bottom of the radiator but it's out of the way.

Any part numbers or vehicle model's to look up for the suggested hoses ? Having a nightmare with my new rad trying to find hoses. I have a rad with outlets both on the passengers side.

Well I have been keeping my old 1996 4.0 6cyl Jeep Grand Cherokee for a few years I couldn't see scraping it yet..

Turns out the hoses are a PERFECT fit for my LQ4 truck engine and ls swap rad with outlet and inlet on passengers side

I used the stock 87 burb radiator and 01 silverado hoses. Stock 87 shroud, 01 belt driven fan. The shroud could be another 1" longer to cover the fan, but I havent had any heat issues.
