HELP! What have I done wrong?!
I've got a 65 c10 that I've been working on for a while now and I've just run into a huge issue. I've z'd the frame 3" and sectioned the crossmember 1.5". I used an 80s model crossmwmbwr for disc brakes. Today I installed the captian fab power steering conversion and gear box and when I went to hook the cross link to the pitman arm I notice that it hits the top of my lower Control arm right above the bushings and won't alow it to drop down enough to actually hook up. Is there a different more straight pitman arm I'm supposed to use or did I do something completely wrong. Any help will be greatly appreciated as I am out of ideas.

Re: HELP! What have I done wrong?!
Thats what happens when you raise the crossmember without raising the steering (as well as creating bump steer). Why the Z and the crossmember? You can shim your crossmember back down a bit to give yourself the additional clearance.
