Wasnt really expecting the turnout of trucks for this little town of Loomis that I saw, but WOW was I ever mistaking about what is out there and what people have been doing with these trucks! - Mostly all Chevys too and there are some fine examples of true restorations, some nice custom work and some excentric details by true artisans of the hot rod trade.

And the most important of all - our own "tpimuncie" (Luis) from the boards here is the proud new owner of a BEST OF SHOW trophy!!!!! for his prime example of a 58 Task Force Chevy Fleetside that is detailed to perfection.

Luis had some tough competition at this show, all of the trucks being displayed here were top notch! The restos were so perfect, it was amazing to see. The parking lot next to the show had just as many nice looking trucks and muscle cars and this one was one of them....

This is a CANT MISS SHOW for all NORCAL people next year!.... it was really nice!

Nice showing..specially the 4x4 tfs.and really like that blue 4x4 tf burb hid behind that teal tf 4x4..

Hey and if you enter the 50/50 raffle it may pay for your trip! The raffle was worth well over $1000 this year. Great prizes they were giving away too.

Loomis is right off Hwy 80 heading between Roseville, CA and North Lake Tahoe. So if anybody wanted to make a nice trip of it, Tahoe is only like an hour and half or so away from here. One of the greatest places to cruise around and enjoy the lake. It would take a whole day to go around the lake.

Hot August nights is right around the corner, 1st week of August in Reno!

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
