1975 Bucket seats fit in 69-72 Blazer
Has anyone put 1975 bucket seats into your Blazer? I'm thinking about buying a pair for my 72 blazer and want to make sure they fit and if they don't how hard is it to make them fit.

If you're talking about second generation Blazer seats, they fit, but the passenger seat will hit the windshield when you tilt it forward. It won't go forward very far.

Yeah I probably should have said 73-75/ 2nd generation. Is that because they a little taller but you think the brackets will match up. Thanks Truckster

They are taller; I'm not sure if the brackets line up exactly. That's what my Blazer had when I bought it years ago, but I didn't keep them and I really don't remember what the PO did with the brackets.

Re: 1975 Bucket seats fit in 69-72 Blazer
I pulled some plastic seatbacks from a 73 blazer that were the same as those on my 72s. I'm fairly sure the frames are the same but brackets differ though I could be wrong. Several threads have covered this topic.

Re: 1975 Bucket seats fit in 69-72 Blazer
As long as they are low back seats from a 2nd gen, the frames are the same, but the skirts are slightly different. With 1st gen brackets they'll work perfectly, but I'm not sure about 2nd gen brackets.

1974 blazer seats wont bolt right on to the 72 you have to make new holes and if you buy original 72 brackes, the driver brackets will bolt right on to the 1974 seat, but not the passenger front brackets.
