power steering pump leave or remove??
About to try and get this 5.3 put in my '64, im not gonna be running power steering for now, do i need to remove the p/s pump or can i leave it on? i didnt know if it would cause the pump to burn up running empty or any other problems. Also didnt really want to spend the extra $$$ to buy new brackets to run just an alternator. Thanks..

If your not going to use ..remove it..it wouldn't last long running it dry..or go ahead and switch to power steering...
