Catch up and a few questions.
Hi guys, alive and well in southern Alberta.
The '60 got parted out but most of it still sits in my back yard. My front yard now has a beautiful '63 cab sitting in it, and my wife is thinking of keeping it as yard art. But the love of my life now is my 1964 C20. Big back window, 292 with 4 on the floor, all original. Creeping up on 90,000 original miles, all well documented by the former mechanic owner in the original owners service manual. Couple questions... will the signal light stuff out of the 63 column work in my 64? Will the 63 seat bolt into my 64? Thanks guys. |

Re: Catch up and a few questions.
The 63 seat will bolt right in.
63 had a one year turn signal mechanism. 60-66 shared the same turn signal mechanism. No pictures of the 63 cab to discourage others? Really bummed over the Cool Pack.

Re: Catch up and a few questions.
60 looks like some turn signal parts are one year only..... 61/62 use the same turn signal parts........ 64/66 use the same....... 63 turn switch is again a one year usage..... you would have to compare where the switch mounts in the column to see if they are compatible the cancel plate is the same on all 60/66

Re: Catch up and a few questions.
How's the cab on that. It's a twin to the cab I bought for my 4WD project, that in the end is rotten. Talented body man though that covered all the rot that I discovered.

Re: Catch up and a few questions.
34,358 original miles, all spent on one farm. Just one spot on the passenger side floor, palm sized. Bottom of the doors have a little rust. I already sold that grille to a gentleman in Ontario, and I'll be putting a C10 one back in. The hood is off so flowers can go in there in planters in the spring. The doors might be coming off so flower pots can go.
