4l80e low hump trans cover.

I have read that some folks have installed a 4l80e into c10 with a low hump trans cover. I know it will be a tight fit. But my question is has anyone installed a floor shifter with the low hump also. My 67 has 3 on tree and I want to put a floor shifter in with the 4l80. Please post any info or pictures if you have any.

I installed a 4l80e in my truck with a lokar shifter and had to cut the top of the tunnel and it's a low hump

I know of 2 with the 4l80 installed with. Low hump. Mine is one. I have a cable floor shifter but it's mounted in my console. The other does use the stock column shifter

How bad are your Cab Mounts?? It really depends on the shifter (Lokar & Gennie) styles that mount to the trans case can take up a lot of room, With a Cable Shifter.....It doesn't really matter.

OK thanks guys, I like the look and style of Lokar shifter and the way it mounts to trans. But that is why I asked , looks like it will take some room for it to work. I have replaced all cab mounts already.
