Sliding side glass-Blazer

I'm looking to replace the solid side glass on my removable top '74 with a pair of sliders. Does anyone know if it's available new or does anyone know if later year sliders (ie 73-91) will fit??? Thanks

Re: Sliding side glass-Blazer

You can just remove old glass and install the slider one using the same rubber gasket (and locking gasket).

When I first got mine, I didn't know this...paid for shipping via freight a whole fiberglass top with sliders. Top got damaged during shipping (who knew)

Later figured out I could just pull the fixed glass out and install the sliders. Heck, I even had to do this once when I locked the keys in my car! Got some windex from store, pulled locking gasket out and then the glass. Got in and unlocked car....all done in about 4 minutes total. A little scary on that fact for breaking in.

good to know! I was contemplating pulling mine out to paint the top or not I think now i will pull them out and just re-use the same ones back in after oiling them up a little to soften them?

does anyone sell the outer wind visor that mounts outside these?

i called LMC to order new felts for the sliders and they told me they did not sell them but they did have the small rubber piece that goes in front of the felts so i said ok send em. To my surprise when they arrived they are the felts! comes in a flat strip and you just fold them and stick them in the channel.
