Re: manual paddle valve switches
I used to use those all the time, firestone paddles. you will want PTC or compression fittings though, no way would I use a barbed fitting on suspension.
they work nice but are sloooooow. like new meaning of slow.

Re: manual paddle valve switches
i see the viair kits sold here in the uk for airride are the same type as those pictured, the tanks and pressure switches are set for 150psi, so you'd think the switches would be safe for at least that pressure!

Re: manual paddle valve switches
X2 for what joedoh said. I have seen them in action using 8" bags on the front. Real slow. I use the 4Play manual valve. Speed is good.

Re: manual paddle valve switches
I've used those valves - never had a line blow off.
If you want them faster, just buy a larger line size. Otherwise, unless you want to hop your truck, speed isn't much of a consideration - a few seconds from full inflation to deflation and vice versa. |

Re: manual paddle valve switches
the orifice is a little smaller than 1/8th on those, at least the firestone. I had 4 in a toyota a billion years ago with 3/8" line and remember throwing a 4 minute side to side.
ok maybe it wasnt 4 minutes to go back and forth but it was definitely the length of the light I was stopped at. I agree not everyone wants speed, I use ol school MIC toggles or little larry manuals, love em. edit: here is the toyota.

Re: manual paddle valve switches
I have them on my truck, not trying to win any jumping competitions. They work just fine.
