Question 87 TBI Compatibility?

Maybe you all can help me. I have a new me 87 suburban that is motorless. I was gonna swap in a 95 lt1 but it is no Good. So now I need another one. What motor would be drop in easiest for my delima? And what years tbi are comparable?

87-95 TBI engines will be a direct drop in, with minor differences in sensors. Knock sensor values, TPS connector, and I believe the spark control changed around 1993, off the top of my head. But for the most part, those years will be drop in ready.

Awesome because I have a line on a 1990 k1500 motor for cheap.so I'll pretty much have to do is maybe wire in different sensors? Because that sounds a lot easier than what I was trying to do lol

If it's a 1990, I believe it will be a complete bolt in, plug and play. No need to change anything.

What about camaro motors? I found a 305 out of a 92... For cheaper...
