Transmission cooling lines? Help
I have a turbo 350 mated to a 350 motor I'm getting ready to drop in my 64 c10. I'm having trouble finding straight pieces that are long enough Here at my local parts supplier in town.
The fittings for supply and return lines screw into along the bottom of my radiator. Any info or suggestions are greatly appreciated??!!

Re: Transmission cooling lines? Help
Have you checked the 70's to see if those are what you need?

Re: Transmission cooling lines? Help
I've looked at a few different parts vendors catalogs and I'm seeing the 70's lines screw in along the passenger side of the radiator.

Straight pieces? Of hard line? Use large brake line- you can buy them from any auto store in various lengths and bend to fit. I think that they use inverted flares just like brake lines. It is what I have used in the past.

Re: Transmission cooling lines? Help
I used the exact set up SuperC is showing and I'm very happy with it. I hid it in the frame really easy.

Re: Transmission cooling lines? Help
I also used the brake lines for my lines for a 700R4. But I did use rubber hose at the end where I hooked it up to the trans cooler.

Re: Transmission cooling lines? Help
I used inline tube for my trans lines but they were power glide ones, don't know how close the 350 are to them.

Re: Transmission cooling lines? Help
I modified the cooler lines from my 83 Chevy parts truck to work on my 66 when I put the turbo 350 transmission in it.
