Parking Brake
Putting the 58 together,I had to go back and look at the pictures I have.I do own a Harley repair so I took a bunch of leftover Harley clutch cables to use on parking brake. Cab should be back from painter in a couple weeks

What are you rocking for all that stuff? looks like a ford 9 inch? with what breaks? I have been wanting to swap my 57 rear end for something with discs. I have been thinking about an explorer 8.8 for the costs. Thanks

It is a ford 9" it was cheep,but did have Dutchman's shorten housing 10" and build new axles.Brakes are from Jegs.Everytime the parking brake is used it make sure brakes are adjusted

Slick setup, I have to leave in a few minutes to go pick up a nine inch rear axle I bought for my 48. Since Dutchmans moved to Idaho I'll be taking mine to a shop in Harrah that specializes in cutting down rear axles.

That's cool the way you drilled those bolts length wise to make the cable stops.

I was very happy with Dutchman's Just boxed everything up and it was back a lot faster than I thought
