66 C10 longbed on 90 4x4 Surburban
Call me crazy. I want an old school 66 Chevy look but a more modern fuel injected 5.7L, auto, A/C and straight axle 4x4. The Burb was a good runner but beat up and the C 10 was rough too. I know with my skill level and the condition of the donor vehicles that it will never be a show piece. I want a good driver on the road and off. I will try to post some pics and ask that after you get a good laugh, you will give me some ideas.

Sounds like a project. Do the wheelbase's match? Body swaps are not that difficult.

Wheelbase is the same. I am not a mechanic or fabricator but prefer the fab work. I left the firewall, floor, steering and everything in tact on burb frame. I lowered the 66 cab shell, minus its firewall and floor, onto it and mocked up front end of 66 to 90 Burb chassis. I have been able to crank it and drive it out of shop everyday. Didn't even have to unhook A/C .Lots of work and questions ahead. Trying to post pics from google cloud and don't know how.

Sounds like a cool project, not so good figuring out Google either. I have lots of pics stored there though.
