Picking up a burb tomorrow

Grandpa's truck that his grand daughter inherited. It has 73k miles but rats ate a wire or wires while it was stored for the last 4 years. Is there a way to get the rear power window back up manually. The electric motor is probably shot.

Re: Picking up a burb tomorrow

you can undo the cable that goes into the motor and use a drill to spin it (just have to take the access panel off first)

Thank you. The interior cleaned up nicely. It still needs some deep cleaning but I ran out of daylight.

That is a very nice burb! It looks like the mice/rats didn't tear up the interior too bad either!

I might have been wrong about the mice. The wire melted. Just not sure why at this point.

Re: Picking up a burb tomorrow

Yes sir it started with a 4.5/6 (pic on the trailer) but then it was changed to 6/7 drop with 35 series tires. I like the 4.5/6 with 45 tires a lot better.

I got her running. All she needed was some fresh gas!

Well I finally managed to get the rusted out bolts off the running boards and the gas tank out.

Re: Picking up a burb tomorrow

Nice burb. I dig the stock caps. I think it would be cool to drop it just they way it is. So much character in the 70s burbs
