1966 camper 1 ton to SWB
Well, I got a project to work on. I found this 1966 camper with less than 50K on the OD. 327 that runs like a top.
I will use the cab and put it on a short box frame and go with drop spindles / disc brakes all round with 5 lug. Will go with a 700r auto trans. |

I think it would be really nice to keep that cab on the big frame. Why not go with a duallie box on there?

Y do so many people take a great truck & turn it into a 1/2 ton those truck r just rare to c them as they where built to B !!!!!!!!! jst my 2cents have fun !!

They're not that easy to find anymore. These trucks have been being built in this area for 30+ years, plus a lot of them have rode the slow boat to China. You have to look long and hard to find what most consider good enough to build. Most guys don't want to deal with any rust.
