Swing away tire carrier
I have a chance to buy a swing away tire carrier for my 72 Blazer but the guy is missing the bracket that mounts to the tailgate and one of the body brackets. Is there anyone out there that has a trashed carrier that would sell me the brackets only? I really think this would be a nice option to have instead of the inside carrier. I would be willing to trade the inside carrier for the brackets, or cash is always an option. Please let me know soon.
thanks Dave |

When I was looking for my carrier, there were several for sale without the brackets. One guy said they would be easy to make. After buying a carrier with all the brackets, I don't think they would be too easy to make without some originals to use as a template. If the price is right on the carrier, I'd buy it. You might be able to borrow some brackets from someone to duplicate them.
