New Northern Illinois 72 LS LWB owner

Picked up this '72 from a guy in Missouri over the weekend. It lived most of its life in Georgia and Alabama. The last owner did the drop and wheels. Drivetrain is a 2007 iron block 4.8 LS out of a van and a 4l60e trans that are controlled by a Mega Squirts MS3 Pro stand alone controller. It currently has a 12 bolt with a 3.08 spool but that's getting replaced with a posi unit asap, probably with around a 3:42 ring and pinion.

I'm going to upgrade the interior, put a relocated fuel tank in back and upgrade the shocks with something a little better then what's on there. The front drop consisted of 2.5 drop spindles and removal of 1 coil and the back was axle flipped and C notched. It doesn't ride the best so I'd like to improve that.
I'm wondered if I should get new front coils also. The back has leaf springs with new bushings.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and tips for the items I'm looking at doing. These trucks are cool!

I was going to drive it home, but glad I trailered it. It needs some suspension upgrades (better shocks and front lowering springs) and some better tires.
