Mounting Plates question

Plan on putting a 4.8 into an 85 c10. Will also mate to TH350 I currently have. My questions are:

1 - Do I just need to basic mounting plates? not the ones that relocate the motor forwards or backwards any

2 - I will also use the torque converter I have so to mate the motor to the 350 will I just need the spacer and bolts? Or will I need to get another flex plate as well?

Thanks!
