1970 C10 Cab inner cowl restoration, HELP!
Hey Guys, this is my first post on here, hopefully you can help.
We're in the middle of restoring a 1970 c10 cab, and everything was going smooth until we took the lower cowl off and revealed what you see in the pictures... do you know where I can buy repair panels for this area? I haven't been able to find any. Any other tips on what the best method is to attack this? I've heard people removing that side vent (not sure what it's called, the "ear" looking thing) completely and patching it. |

ouch!!
Those pieces are not reproduced. You can get a firewall and the outer panel. How is the rest of the cab? The only options I know of are to fab your own panels, get parts from another cab, or buy a better cab. A few people on the parts boards that are selling cab sections might be good way to go. You can fix it but it is going to be a lot of work. Personally I would start looking for a better cab.

Thanks for getting back to me! Yeah it's pretty bad. I'll look in that part section you told me about, that's a good call. I just bought this freaking thing, came out of an old truck I was stripping to repair another one that caught fire. Long story. Thanks again!
