1971 c-10 nc
Hello everyone,
Just introducing myself. I grew up building model As but decided I wanted an early 70s C-10. I came across a 71 at the right price and decided to jump on it. So now I have a 1971 c-10 with a 350 and nv3550. It needs a good bit of work as some of the previous patch jobs were probably done in a finely lit garage through guestimations. So I have my work cut out for me. I'm slowly collecting the parts to get the work done that I want to do this winter to include: Pulling engine/ trans for a rebuild Coils for a 2" drop Move gas tank to under the bed Wood bed Replace tailgate Bucket seats to replace the busted bench And some other odd jobs. Looking forward for something new in a build. My last build was a 1029 Ford Tudor 2 times over. Once back to stock and then a few years later into a hot rod. I am hoping to get this truck to be a daily driver that I can pass on to my son. Looking forwards to learning from those of you who have gone before with these modifications and seeing some of your builds/restorations. - Tyler |

Welcome Tyler! Sounds like a nice project....these are pretty straight forward trucks to work on, so that should make it more enjoyable. Do you have any pictures?
