Correct radiator??

I have a 1965 Chevy C10 but it has a 250 and it
I have an old aluminum radiator that fits within the saddles (230 with 230 fanshroud?)
but when I take another one that's supposed to fit it fits up on the frame rails
it seems it if it does fit up on the frame rails that the fan itself is too low

I know to take the 230 shroud off and it will allow the radiator to sit closer to the support
But again the fan sits too low..fan blades only come up to maybe right over half of the height of new radiator

I NEED a new radiator!

Re: Correct radiator??

I have the same setup on my 250 truck, an aluminum V8 radiator with no shrouds. Unless you have A/C, it doesn't really make any difference.
Thought about a 1" fan spacer, but it runs cool in 118 degree heat, so...
