Engine VIN Help
I am trying to figure out what vehicle my engine is from according to the engine VIN. I was able to identify the engine code V0105TYZ as a Flint engine in January 5 from 1975 350. Can anyone help me with the VIN?
Engine VIN C7S152694 Thanks |

Re: Engine VIN Help
Look around on that link.
There's more there on how to decipher it. The C7S will decode to where/when it was built. The 152694 is the last six digits of the vin of the vehicle it was installed in. http://www.nastyz28.com/decode.php |

Re: Engine VIN Help
I looked around the web also but could not find anything to match up to the "C7S" . I too believe it should be Body, Year, & Vehicle Assembly Plant of the original vehicle. I suspect "S" is for St Louis, which at that time made lots of Chevrolet passenger cars, Corvettes, light & medium duty trucks.
