Is there a quick-detach front inner fender?
*Front inner fenders are not on at the moment.*
Doing all this work on my truck: fuel lines, battery cables, wiring, hoses, points-setting...I have realized that I would have a much harder time if my front inner fenders were on. Other than the J-nuts and bolts, is there a "quick-detach" set up for getting an inner fender off? |

I tell you, if I was going to swap out points, put on a another fuel pump....I'd remove the front inner fender!
If I had to do it over, I'd get my engine running before putting on the front end again! Just core support, radiator, hoses, and then hook up the fuel lines and replace points/tune up. |

For those reassembling after paint, make sure to install your fender emblems before installing your inner fenders. Driver's side is doable but it's a HUGE PAIN IN THE A** installing your passenger side emblems with the inner fender on!

Re: Is there a quick-detach front inner fender?
No joke! I found that one out the hard way but I had only put the outer fenders on, nothing else (except core support) so it was pretty easy to take those back off, put on the emblems, and put the fenders back on. I wish GM had better thought those emblems through.
