Radiator cap

I seem to be losing coolant from the radiator drain /overflow pipe. I presume that the pressure rating of the cap (16) is not sufficient to stop the spring being compressed by pressure when the engine is hot.

Is there a standard pressure for a 350 is a blazer and is mine incorrrect?

Re: Radiator cap

16 should be good. Your cap may just be weak. Try a new one. If this don't work. You may want to do a leak down check.
