Bumper Fitment - 70's era bumper on 90 K5
Probably a stupid question - but I want to ditch the factory bumpers on my wife's K5 Jimmy I'm putting together as they are the type with the plastic rub guard on them. Looking at 70's era chrome bumpers with no rub strips. Are the mounting brackets the same from 73-91 or are there different brackets over the years?
Thanks |

Check out www.lmctruck.com . It shows the differences.

What about a Scottsdale bumper? This is my 1991. No strips

Re: Bumper Fitment - 70's era bumper on 90 K5
I was able to get a 80s bumper on my 76 K5. Not what you were asking but I did have to file a bumper bracket hole on each side to get the bolt to line up.
