Can Motor/transmission be removed together?
I'll be removing a SBC with a Turbo 400 and installing a SBC with a 700R4. While only removing the hood and radiator for clearance, can the motor and transmission be pulled from the top while still bolted together? Or will I need to unbolt the transmission and remove it from the bottom and motor from the top separately? This is on a 66 C10.

Re: Can Motor/transmission be removed together?
Yes you can pull them together. You may need to pull the trans crossmember to let the trans drop down to get enough angle.
