Next piece to the puzzle
Received my next piece to the puzzle. Got my aluminum bed that looks like wood from Smokey Road Rod Shop. This is one nice piece. I went with their Barnyard look in Irma's Rosewood.

Interesting, expensive but might be worth it depending how it looks in person. I notice it won’t be at any shows on the west coast so I will never see it. If it looks too “fake” too artificial like a lot of laminate flooring does it’ll be dead on arrival. But I’d REALLY like to see it.
I wish I’d known about their tailgate chain/latch system before I final painted my truck.

That stuff really looks wonderful. I thought about an aluminum bed but the ocean/salt air around here made me back away fast. Stainless and Synthetic seem be working well after 2 years of exposure.
