K10 rear U-bolt
In my 61 K10 the rear u-bolts that go around the springs and to the bracket on the rear end are almost deteriorated and one of the mounting holders on the bottom side of the rear end is broken. Does anyone have a set of know where a guy could get some of them? Ill post a picture when I get one here shortly. thanks

Re: K10 rear U-bolt
For the u-bolts I would just get new ones. Does your lower bracket have the shock mount built into it?

Re: K10 rear U-bolt
I think LMC has the bottom plate also. #8 is the plate. I would call and make sure the u (square) bolts are the correct length. Most spring shops can make them also, as you might know.

Re: K10 rear U-bolt
^^^ This.
FWIW, Ive had excellent luck with spring shop u bolts. I have found them to be comparable in price to mail order and seemingly better quality. Most of the time the steel has been made here (USA). Most OTR truck shops also have the bolts or the capability to make them. It surprises me that the bottom plate is still made. Awesome that it still can be found!

Re: K10 rear U-bolt
Did you find a bottom plate yet? I was doing some clean up today and found one.
