A little rust hole on driver rocker. Solid floor pans both sides barely surface rust.

nice truck you have there. As for the bedside, it just unbolts from the front panel and the floor with bolts with nuts on the bottom side. It might be easier to do it off the truck

Good luck

I almost lost this gem. I had to get ahold of the owner and exchange moneys for a truck that was a very hot item. I also had to leave town that day to drive my wife to San Antonio to take her EMT-B test. I had to borrow the money from my mom (God Bless her) but I got it and I drove the truck home just as another guy drove up to try and get the truck I was so happy to find a truck that was not going to need so much cancer repair like my 69 does. Now I need to figure out what to do with my 69 SWB, besides spare parts for the 70

On the radio. I have a $400 cd player in my 69. Its a Pioneer Premeir but I am torn on whether to cut the dash or not. My 69 has a gaping hole that was even to large for a cd player. I am not planning a stock restoration, but I am also not planning anything wild either. It will be a mostly stock truck with a color of my choosing(most likely Indigo Blue), a relocated gas tank and a decent sound system. I plan to do the hidden filler also. This is gonna be my boat and race car hauler. A combination of style and function.

I have a SWB. It makes me cry every time someone hacks a long bed to make a SWB. I have wanted a LWB for so long. I want a truck to haul things with. A SWB is awful scary when you are towing a 18 ft trailer and a 4000lb race car.

i'm pretty sure they dont make repop LWB bedsides yet, just SWB. you live in TX, so nice originals shouldn't be too hard to find.
