70 into 62

Can anyone tell me if a bench seat from a 70's C10 will fit a 62?

I don't mind if I have to modify the base or floor pan as long as I don't have to cut 5" out the centre of the seat or something similar.

Hi Rocknrod,
Can i take it you mean the link about foam in the seats?
Im taking from that, that if the foam is basically the same the later seat should fit ok.
Ive measured the width and it will fit im just not sure if the mounts are the same as ive nothing to compare it to (mune didnt have an original seat when i bought it)
Bill

You better off with a seat from an 88 to 92. I believe these are the same. I know they bolt in up front and just drill the rear holes.
